Experience the wonders of visiting China. Take Part in an unforgettable trip to China.
Summer Encounters
HWGD’s longtime friend Sophia set out to change that. After earning her MBA in the U.S., she returned to China and founded the Summer Encounters in the Pacific (SEP) Sino-US Youth Cultural Exchange Program. Through a partnership between her company, Yarrow Court Culture Communication, and HWGD, SEP creates meaningful cultural exchange and genuine connection between Chinese and American teens and families.
This 18-day SEP program, organized by Yarrow Court, offers immersive, hands-on experiences with China’s next generation of leaders in technology, art, and sports, drawing on an extensive network of artists and business innovators. Participants gain firsthand exposure to both the visible and behind-the-scenes strengths of major tech companies.
Summer Escape
Sophia and her husband also designed a luxury hotel and large indoor water and adventure park, giving students a fun, relaxing summer escape. Leveraging her minority background and local networks, the program includes exploration of Tengchong’s natural landscapes and the rich cultures of western Muslim and Tibetan regions.
Mogao Caves
The journey doesn’t stop there—highlights also include the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang, Crescent Lake, deserts, and grasslands.
This is our first non-profit SEP program, and prices will rise next year. Don’t miss this rare opportunity for teens to discover a new world, build friendships in China, and stay fully engaged every step of the way.
